Conrad Warre: Introduction

Warre has managed the content for a wide range of projects, ranging from: integrated marketing initiatives, editorial design and re-design, cross-platform deployment, redesigned MIT's TechnologyReview.com and CMS, content, design and analytics for edX.org, online recruitment for Microsoft, eCommerce web design for living.com & The Learning Company, real-time data feeds for Compaq International, delivered live concert footage on the web, designed & developed courseware for Harvard's J.F.K. School of Government, HireWired.com, and interactive learning tools for Houghton Mifflin, McDougal Littell, Virtual Entertainment, and Heath Publishing, created pro-bono campaigns for the Michael J. Fox Organization, and for UNICEF. Warre was Creative Director of ZDNet (then the largest tech news site in the world) for almost five years, and won several design awards as Art Director of Discover Magazine.

As Production Manager of Rykodisc, he produced award-winning releases for such artists as Frank Zappa, Yoko Ono and David Bowie, and developed the now trademarked see-through green glass tray for CD packaging. He was Director of Creative Services at Ziff Davis Media, whose clients are major OEMs, ranging from ATI, Canon, CDW, Dell, Gateway, Microsoft, MicronPC, Minolta, Nokia, Sprint, to ZoneLabs.

Graduating with a B.A. Hons in Graphic Communications, from Bath Academy in England, Warre has worked and studied in all areas of visual communications. His hands-on design has been recognized by several industrial awards, and his leadership role in managing complex technical resources has been proven in a variety of fields ranging from ecommerce websites, to integrated-media marketing initiatives, and from distance learning multimedia projects, to CD Audio, CD Rom, Book & Magazine design and production.
